一 |     Tere Ishk Mein has been holding its ground at the box office, keeping pace with the interest it generated before release. The Dhanush–Kriti Sanon starrer is gradually moving toward the Rs 100 crore net figure in India, reflecting a stable first week.          Its first week has ended with over Rs 100 crore worldwide, though Thursday brought a noticeable dip ahead of the clash. Early estimates place day 7 collections at roughly Rs 5.75 crore, taking the domestic total to around Rs 85.50 crore. The film has seen consistent turnout across metros and smaller centres throughout the week.          Its current numbers place it ahead of Kriti Sanon’s earlier 2024 release, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which had finished with about Rs 80.88 crore. The film is also closing in on the earnings of Crew, which collected Rs 89.92 crore and is positioned to surpass it if the trend continues through the week.               The film’s run now faces a challenge with the arrival of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which opens today. With wider screen allocation and more shows going to the new release, Tere Ishk Mein may experience some pushback in terms of collections. Also Read: Kriti Sanon Arrives at Mumbai Airport in an All-black Ensemble。    According to sources, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are expected to reunite once again on a new film directed by Ayan Mukerji. This project would mark their reunion after ten years. While details regarding the collaboration and the film's core team have been released, India Today has reported that the movie will be a loose adaptation of Raj Kapoor and Nargis's 1956 classic, Chori Chori.            Sources close to the project say that Ranbir is set to re-envision a classic film originally directed by his great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, by mixing it with a modern, contemporary perspective. The original movie depicted the unexpected connection that developed between a runaway heiress and a quick-witted reporter during a journey filled with romance, comedy, and social commentary.          According to the sources, the upcoming film will not directly replicate the original plot but will instead offer a fresh interpretation of its core concept incorporating modern character developments and updated narrative elements.           Ranbir is reportedly planning to revive the famous RK Films banner for this project, motivated by his own desire to restore the family legacy. The movie is expected to be the first title under the reestablished banner.           With Ayan directing and Ranbir and Deepika in the lead roles, the film is not only a huge onscreen reunion but also a modern tribute to a classic collaboration between Raj Kapoor and Nargis.           The upcoming project will mark the reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone after a decade, following their last collaboration on Tamasha (2015). Their on-screen chemistry, especially in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was greatly appreciated by their fans.           On the work front, Ranbir is occupied in filming Love & War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He will also be seen in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana which is slated to release in two parts. Meanwhile, Deepika is currently involved in the making of King, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. Also Read: PHOTOS: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone Share a Hug As They Return to Mumbai。
